Debutant director Udhayan has given a movie with a gripping storyline with love and action ingredients. Captain Vijaykant has fulfilled the fans desire by appearing in dual roles.

The story starts with the murder of Justice Sadasivam (Nasser). The CBI officer Kasi Vishwanathan (Vijaykant) takes charge to trace out the murderer. Kuruvaayur Keshavan (Ananthraj) and an inspector (Pandiyarajan) help him in his difficult and thankless job.

Vishwanathan, by his talents, finds the persons responsible for this dastardly and reprehensible murder. As a result, he finds that Perarasu (Vijaykant), who looks exactly like him, is the murderer. He goes to Perarasu’s native place Paanchalakuruchi to find the reason behind the murder. There, he comes to know about his relationship with Perarasu.

This is the time for a flashback…

Kasi Vishwanathan and Perarasu are brothers, sons of Sankara Pandian (Sarath Babu). Ilakkiyan (Prakashraj) is the MLA of Paanchalaluruchi and also a famous person there. Sankaralingam (Mansoor Ali Khan), the villain of the movie, enters the scene. Ilakkiyan join hands with Sankaralingam and murders Sankara Pandian. The small boy Perarasu witnesses this murder.

The story continues to show how Kasi Vishwanathan nabs the murderer of Ilakkiyan and Sankaralingam. Vijaykant has done a commendable job in fight sequences. His acting highlights the difference between the two characters he plays. Ananthraj and Prakashraj have lived up their characters. Damini plays the role of a typical lover.

The story is very interesting and has a racy narration. Congrats to the debutant director Udhayan.

Perarasu – Action mixed thriller.

Khaja Mohideen of Roja Combines has come out with a different gripping story through Perarasu. Captain Vijaykant has delivered a commendable performance, positive as well as negative. Congrats, Captain!
