Dharan started his career in an internship under Harris Jeyaraj for the movies Anniyan , Kaake Kaake and Chellame (Telugu) . He is famous actress Devika's nephew. Dharan used to do a lot of music programs in the college Bhagyaraj's daughter Saranya studied in. Saranya's recommendation and his talent paved the way for his entry into the Kollywood. The 22-year-old music director's “Unnai Kanda...” song in Parijatham is a huge hit which will sing his fame forever.
