AVM's Nimathi and Sorgam are very famous serials among Tamil TV viewers. As they cross 1000 episodes, AVM banner celebrated the grand occasion with a fantastic function to felicitate the cast and crew of the serials. It was a splendid function, with stars and sparkles from the small screen attending. AVM Saravanan and M.S. Gugan planned the function very well, taking care of the smallest details. Nalli Kuppusamy Chetti and Natarajan attended and distributed the shields to the cast and technicians who had worked in these projects. The achievers' awards of the function were given to actresses Monika and actor Peter Selvakumar. S.P. Muthuraman and Peru Thulasi Palanivelu, AVM's PRO, also attended the function.
