The filming of Padikkadhavan, starring Dhanush and Tamannaah and directed by Suraj, has been stopped for the past 8 days and will resume only after 6 days. Director Suraj wanted to film some action scenes involving Dhanush with moving trains in the backdrop. Since this is not possible in a studio, he decided to shoot this scene in Egmore Railway station and wrote to Southern Railway requesting for permission to shoot in Egmore station. Southern Railway said that it needs at least 12 to 14 days to issue them the required permission. Meanwhile, the crew decided to take a break.
