Dasavathaaram stars Kamal Hassan in ten different roles for the first time ever along with Asin and Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat. The film, produced by Oscar Movies' V. Ravichandran, is directed by K.S. Ravikumar and has music by Bollywood’s hot composer Himesh Reshammiya.

The audio launch of the movie is to be held shortly at the YMCA Grounds, Nandanam in Chennai. Hollywood superstar Jackie Chan will be the chief guest for the function. In addition to Chan, many other superstars from Indian cinema including Amitabh Bachchan, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are expected to take part in the grand function.
