Director Selva remade the yesteryear hit Naan Avan Illai (the famous Gemini Ganeshan movie) and the new version had Jiiva reprising Gemini Ganeshan’s role; above all, it had five beauties: Sneha, Namitha, Jyothirmayee, Keerthi Chawla, and Malavika. It turned out to be a successful film.
Now Selva is trying to repeat his success formula. Yes! He is going to remake another yesteryear hit film and he is going to have five heroines in it too, just like the last time. The film that is going to be remade is K. Balachander’s Noottrukku Nooru.
But he has declared that none of the heroines featured in Naan Avan Illai will be cast in this film; this has stoked up the curiosity levels of audiences already. Well, who can resist the delight of watching five new beauties in a single film?!
