The launch function of Aata Naayaghan, Sakthi’s next film, was held in a grand manner at A.V.M. Pillayar Koil today. The function was presided over by Producers' Council President Ramanarayanan, Ibrahim Rowthar, and K.R.G. The other guests who graced the occasion were Azhagan Tamizhmani, P. Vasu and his wife, Peethambaram, S.A. Chandrasekharan, Pyramid Saimira’s Swaminathan and Natarajan, Khushbu and Sandya. The film’s hero Sakthi, music director Srikanth Deva, producers Muralidharan and Swaminathan were also present at the function.
Aata Naayaghan (aka Aatta Nayagan) is Sakthi's third film and Lakshmi Movie Makers' 27th film, who have produced successful films like Mr. Madras, Aranmanai Kavalkaran, Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen. Their 26th film, Silambattam starring Simbu, is almost ready for release.
Aata Naayaghan stars the beautiful Malayalam actress Ramya Nambisan (who acts in Raman Thediya Seethai) opposite Sakthi. It is a melodramatic love story sprinkled with comedy and feel-good factors. The supporting cast of this film includes Nasser, Anil Menon, Santhaanam, ‘Lollu Sabha’ Jeeva, R. Sundarajan, Ashwini, Sachu, and Devaki. Krishnaram, who directs this flick, has also written its story, screenplay, and dialogues; he has been an assistant to director Vikraman of Vaanathai Pola fame.
