Registered with Producer Kalaipuli S. Dhanu, he gave the title when Selvaraghavan and his dad Kasturiraja approached him with a request for the title.
The new Aayirathil Oruvan is said to be a nail-biting thriller starring Karthi and Reema Sen in the lead. The surprise packet is Dhanush in a cameo appearance. The music is is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
