Abhirami Ramanathan’s Mani Vizha was a grand affair! So grand that it was like witnessing Shiva and Parvathi’s marriage as described in Hindu mythology. In fact, the stage was designed like the Himalayas and there were sculptures of Shiva, Parvathi and other deities. The walls of the Rani Meyyammai Hall, where the grand event took place, were adorned with photographs from various stages of Abhirami Ramanathan’s life. Chief Minister Karunanidhi paid a visit to the couple and congratulated them. The grand event was witnessed by many VIPs from both political and cine worlds of Tamil Nadu.
(Mani Vizha: It is a Hindu custom where a married couple renews their matrimonial vows on the husband's 60th birthday. It is a beautiful custom which strengthens the couple’s bonding.)
Abhirami Ramanathan is a very famous businessman, owner of Abhirami Mega Mall, and president of Chennai Theatre Owners’ Association. He is married to Nallammai. The couple leads a very happy life, serving as an example to the younger generation.
