Comedy actor Pandu endeared himself to everyone with his eccentric dialogue delivery, funny mannerisms and good acting. Now his son is all set to attract viewers as a hero. Yes! Comedy actor Pandu’s son, Guru, is making his debut as a hero in Pattalam, directed by Linguswamy. It also stars Nathiya in a crucial role.
The news is that Guru also has six-pack abs. No, he did not develop this asset as a part of his film assignment, but he had it even before he began to look for roles in films. Guru used to be a model before he became an actor. He was always interested in acting, which is only natural with the exposure he had to films, being the son of an actor. Even in school and college, he eagerly participated in dramas, skits and dance competitions. Once in college, he took up modelling too. He always dreamt of becoming a filmi hero.
Guru is a self-made man who does not want to bask in the glory of his father. Though it was easy for him to gain roles with his father’s influence, he did not do so. He toiled hard, appeared in many auditions and finally ended up in Linguswamy’s audition held for Pattalam. Even there, he mentioned that he is actor Pandu’s son only after getting the role. Linguswamy was very much moved by his self-dependant nature and has given him extra footage in the film.
Guru would like to make it big in Kollywood as an action hero as he loves action films most.
Hats off to you, Guru, for your self-dependency! Galatta.com wishes you success.
