Suriya’s Agaram Foundation collaborated with Tamil Nadu Education Board and made this film with the primary aim is to create awareness on school dropouts. This film is directed by Priya. K.V. Anand is the cameraman, Harris Jayaraj has composed the music, Na. Muthukumar has penned the lyrics and Sreekar Prasad is the editor.

In the press meet to showcase this short film, actor Suriya, Chairman of Agaram Foundation, spoke about the foundation and its objectives. He said that Agaram Foundation will strive to bring about a positive change in society. Every initiative at Agaram is done with an inherent sense of social responsibility. He added that his foundation will always adopt various ways to encourage eradication of illiteracy from society and this film is a small step in that direction. He profusely thanked all those who participated in this film and the Tamil Nadu Government.
Thangam Thennarasu, Hon'ble Education Minister of the Tamil Nadu government, expressed his gratitude to the film fraternity which supported this good cause and worked hard to bring out this awareness film. And they did for free, he added. He said that awareness programmes like these, which have the film fraternity’s support, will have a good impact and will greatly boost the government’s initiative to eradicate illiteracy.
