National Award-winning director Agathiyan is making a comeback to the Tamil screens after a brief hiatus.
The director, who is still admired for his Kaadhal Kotai, has named his upcoming film Nenjathai Killadhe! Yes, the same title of the yesteryear classic directed by Mahendran.
Nenjathai Killadhe stars actor Vijay’s cousin Vikranth, who is still waiting for his break, paired opposite Bharathi. The other cast members include Vikramaditya of Whistle fame, Manivannan, Saranya and Nizhalgal Ravi.
Premji Amaran, who shot to fame with Chennai 600028, is the music director; D. Shankar handles the cinematography.
Besides direction, Agathiyan takes care of the story, screenplay, dialogues and songs.
The film is said to dwell on the conflicts between love and lovers. Shooting has been planned in Chennai, Kochi, Thekkadi and Kodaikanal.
