Aishwarya Rai, the celebrated beauty queen was in Chennai recently as a brand ambassador for a leading jewellery line. She launched the New Winter Wedding Collection of the diamond jewellery in a function held on December 20, at five star hotel in the city.
In the press meet that was held after the launch, Aishwarya fondly recalled her association with Tamilnadu. She remarked that it was after her performance in the Tamil film, Shankar’s Jeans she got nicknamed as 'Ash'. She also expressed her interest and inclination to feature in a Tamil film.
