It’s been a while since Ajantha went into production. The movie was to be simultaneously made in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. The lead stars are Jagapathi Babu and Ramana and debutante Kadhaaka Thirumavalavan as the director. Ajantha is being produced by Rajpa Ravishankar for Ellora Movie Club.
Well, now the latest update on the movie’s progress is that the producer has overthrown the director. Rajpa will be donning the garb of the director too. According to Rajpa, Thirumavalavan was making scenes unnecessarily long and thereby increasing production costs. Hence, now Ajantha will be directed by Rajpa but the credits will carry Thirumavalavan’s name also.
