Akshaya, who debuted through Kalaabak Kaadhalan, has been roped in for Uliyin Osai.
The movie is based on a novel by Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. Akshaya portrays the role of Muthunagai, a classical dancer in the movie.
Akshaya deems it as a rare and wonderful opportunity to be part of such a classical film. A trained Bharathanatyam dancer, she also looks forward to perform alongside Vineeth. The movie is directed by Ilavenil.
She feels that Uliyin Osai will offer her the required break in the industry.
