Ameer injured, Yogi halted

Director Ameer, who brought to us the critically acclaimed Paruthi Veeran, is now debuting as hero in Yogi. The movie is directed by Subramaniam Siva, who was rock sure that none but Ameer could carry off this role. Now however, a mishap during a stunt sequence has brought the shooting to a temporary halt. Ameer, who was pretty confident he could perform the stunt without the use of a dupe, fell from a height of nearly 40 feet. He has sustained several bruises and a fracture and is currently admitted in hospital. We wish him a smooth and speedy recovery.
