Actor Thendral Kumar, who changed his name to Nithish recently, is building a modern film studio equipped with state-of-the-art technology in Porur. According to Nithish, this studio will ensure that he stays in this cine field even after his death; he loves cinema more than anything else. To formulate a plan for this studio and to learn about the new technology that can be implemented in this studio, Nithish travelled extensively in US, especially in San Francisco and Sacramento.
The studio is being built by art director GK. It will contain a production theatre, sound recording theatre, A/C halls to hold film pooja and other film-related functions, and a preview theatre. The studio will also contain huge halls where film shootings can be held and it will also contain buildings resembling police station, hospital, post office, etc., which will save time and money of a film producer spent in erecting sets like these.
Nithish is an actor with good sense of humour. He is best remembered for his role in Anbe Vaa alongside Vivek; the film’s comedy track was sidesplitting and had the audience rolling in laughter. Following the audience reception for this role, Nithish decided to act in more such comedy films. After a long search, he has found and accepted the right comedy subject now. The project, Yar Nee, is a complete laugh riot. It is being produced by Vizhudugal Padipagam and S.V. Pictures. Following this, Nithish will act in yet another comedy film – Yarukku Theriyum – to be directed by Andrew (who directed TV reality show Asathapovathu yaaru).
