A remake of veteran director Balachander’s Nootruku Nooru is to be director Selva’s next project. Nootruku Nooru, a thriller, starred Jai Shankar, Lakshmi, Nagesh and Vijayalalitha. It was a massive hit then, and with a few tweaks to suit today's tastes, could very well make a massive hit again. Selva called up Arjun to play the lead. But soon after that, the veteran himself called on Arjun. Thoroughly impressed by Arjun’s performance in Bharatiraja’s upcoming Bommalattam, KB insisted that Arjun star in the remake which is by Kavithalay Productions. And of course, who can turn down KB's invitation?
