A. Venkatesh is directing Arjun in Durai, an action-oriented subject produced by P.L. Thenappan for Sree Rajalakshmi Films. Arjun pairs up with three heroines – Keerath, Suma and Gajala – in this film for the first time. And above all, Arjun is in his best physical fitness in this film; he has bulked up with well-defined muscles. Therefore there is no doubt that this film’s action sequences will charge up everyone. Bollywood actor Amit plays the villain in Durai.
While Keerath and Suma play long and glamorous roles, Gajala plays a cameo that will move the viewers to tears. The technical crew was reportedly in tears while filming this scene involving Gajala and Arjun. Keerath, who did a good job in Vattaram, has added oodles of glamour to her role in this film and so has Suma.
It is said that Arjun, who already has a good build, has worked diligently for 10 months to finely sculpt his physique and to be faster in action sequences. Reportedly, Bollywood actor Amit had a tough time matching Arjun’s moves.
Music has been composed by Imaan. The supporting cast comprises Vivek, K. Vishwanathan, Vincent Asokan, O.K. Sundar, Shanmuga Rajan, and S.N. Lakshmi.
