The Mammooty-Arjun starrer Aruvadai, which was on the verge of being scrapped, has got a new lease of life. The film directed by Aravindhan has Sneha and Mamta Mohandas as its leading ladies.
The film was earlier stalled due to call sheet problems between the four stars. First, it was Mamta who got busy with her Kannada projects. Then Arjun and Mammooty went to work on their other respective projects leaving the shooting in the lurch.
At one point of time, there was even talk about the whole project being scrapped.
However, the director can now heave a sigh of relief. His efforts to put the project back on track have paid off and the unit is shooting presently in Kochi. Meanwhile, it seems the call sheet troubles might be far from over as Sneha, who had allocated her dates for this project has now got busy in Telugu. Let’s hope this doesn’t derail the project again.
