Teenagers' heartthrob and sensational hero Arya’s much hyped venture is Oram Po. After rigorous workouts, Arya has trimmed down and sports a new look for the movie, where he plays the role of an auto driver.
Giving him able company is Pooja. She plays the role of a biriyani vendor. After Ullam Ketkume, these two have come together for Oram Po Auto is the directorial venture of the director couple, Pushkar and Gayathri. Music director A.R. Rahman’s nephew, G.V. Prakash, is composing the music for this movie which tells the story of an auto driver’s life.
The man behind the camera is Neeraj Shah. Ashwini and M.S. Bhasker are also in the cast. V. Pazhanivel and A.C. Anandan are producing Auto under the banner A.P. Film Garden.
"The characters are what you find in real life and the story pertains to the problems faced by the youth,” says the director, even as he hastens to add that their best efforts are on to churn out a commercial entertainer. V. Pazhanivel and A.C. Anandan, as producers, surely deserve plaudits for open-heartedly backing new and innovative ventures.
