Aval Peyar Tamilarasi, the forthcoming film of Moser Baer starring Jai, Nandagi, Kanja Karuppu, Rama, Theodre Bhaskaran, Veera Santhanam and others, has been invited to be premiered by Dubai International Film Festival, which is being held from 9th to 16th December 2009. The film has music by Vijay Antony, editing by Raja Mohamed and camera work by P.G. Muthiah. It is written and directed by Meera Kathiravan.

The selection team, which came to India in September, saw several films under production in various languages and selected some for screening and premiering during the festival. Aval Peyar Tamilarasi, which is going through the post-production, has been classified as double positive by the selection team; they were quite impressed with the quality of the film and agreed to revert soon on the selection. Moser Baer has now received the formal invite from the organizers.

The film has outstanding music by Vijay Antony with lyrics by a new writer Egadasi; the music release is planned by October-end. Think Music will be releasing the music.

The film will be released in December 2009, after the premiere at the Dubai International Film Festival.

Mr. G. Dhananjayan of Moser Baer feels that it is a great honour for a film under production to be selected for the festival premiere based on the merit and quality of the content and he is confident the new theme and quality of presentation will appeal to larger audiences when it is released in December. The film will also be a part of the competition section at the festival.
