Recently, a few stunt sequences of Ayan were shot in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. These stunt scenes were choreographed by William Hong, who choreographed stunts for Billa. Now the buzz is that the next phase of shooting will be in Zanzibar, Africa.
The cinematographer-director of this film, K.V. Anand said that at present, the film is being shot in short bursts as actor Suriya is busy with Varanam Aayiram and Tamanaah is busy with Ananda Thandavam, which are nearing completion. Once they are done with their respective films, the shooting of Ayan will go on in one single stretch.
