Ajith fans have been waiting for the release of Billa 2007 since quite some time. So when the movie’s music was released, they were only too eager to get their hands on the audio tracks.
Nearly 20,000 audio CDs were up for sale on the day of the release; every copy was sold by the end of the day! This marks the second-highest opening day music sales, the highest being for Sivaji – the Boss. For an Ajith movie, this is the biggest first day music sales recorded till date!
Known as the King of Openings when it comes to his movies, this audio sales record makes Ajith even more a King now! Every shop in the city that stocked the Audio CD, were soon out of stocks and sne SOS messages to the producers for more CDs. The producers themselves were pleasantly surprised at the gratifying response to the movie’s audio and were quick to order 15000 more copies, and dispatching the same to the music stores.
Not just for Ajith, but the music by itself is amazing. Yuvan Shankar Raja has done a fabulous job and deserves a shower of praises for this album!
