Composer Deepak Dev has made a successful debut in Tamil with the recently-released Sadhu Miranda. Deepak’s tunes and background score for the film have received critical acclaim.
Deepak is a popular composer in Malayalam with a string of hits to his credit. His films include the Mohanlal blockbuster Udhayananu Thaaram, Mammootty’s comic superhit Chronic Bachelor (directed by Siddique who has directed Sadhu Miranda) and the Dileep starrer Layan. It should be noted that all his films in Malayalam have been remade in Tamil.
