Day by day, remakes of other language movies in Tamil is considerably increasing. Cheena Thana 001 is the remake of Malayalam movie CID Moosa.
Dileep and Bhavana played the lead roles in the Malayalam version. In Tamil, their roles will be played by Prasanna and Sheela.
Sheela made her debut in the movie Illavattam. Midvalley Entertainment is producing this movie.
Manivannan, Ilavarasu, Delhi Ganesh and Riyaz Khan are also included in the cast. The shooting for this movie started from 10th November, 2006.
