Cheranaatu Solaielay is a film that marks the debut of many newcomers. Judging from its unit's zest and energy, the film looks reel, sorry, real promising . This is the energy that only newcomers can bring in, guided and augmented by the experience of the veteran actors and technicians. The film is directed by Pratap Murali, a debutante director.
Today, the film’s launch took place in a grand manner. Actor Saravanan, of Paruthiveeran fame, presided over the function.
The film is produced by T. Kavidasan under the banner of Success Films. Jeevagan and Desika are the newcomers who will play the lead roles. They are supported by a strong supporting cast comprising Pandiyarajan, Livingston, Alex, Manivannan, Shakeela, V.M.C. Haneefah, Saleem, Kadhal Sukumar and many more.
The shooting is slated to take place in the picturesque locales of Coimbatore and villages abutting the Kerala border. Cinematography, which looks to be the forte of this film, is handled by Ravishankar. Music is by Sabreesh and lyrics by the eminent writers of Kollywood – Piraisudan, Satish, Snegan, and Senthazhai Siva.
The film is a potpourri of all the elements of commercial Tamil cinema with love and comedy making up the backbone of the plot.
