Bhangra King Daler Mehndi has made his Kollywood debut with Kuselan. The singer has crooned in other regional languages, including Telugu for the 2007 super hit Yama Donga. Well, after a crash course in Tamil, Daler has rendered a Tamil song composed by G.V. Prakash for Rajinikanth’s upcoming Kuselan.
Daler says that he has been approached by many music composers including A.R. Rahman to sing in a Southern language, but no offer had been as big as this. That Rajinikanth’s star power has reached Daler is no surprise. 'Perinba Pechukaran' is the song that Daler has sung for the Kuselan music album. Daler expressed that he was happy to be a part of the project and that working with young G.V. Prakash had been a blast.
Kuselan seems to have a whole lot of stars working on screen and behind screen towards making it a grand success, despite the fact that Rajni is not the hero of the film! P. Vasu, the director of the movie, however, has promised that Rajni fans will not be disappointed. We are sure he’ll keep to his promise!
