Dhaam Dhoom, which was cinematographer Jeeva's dream project and became his swan song, stars Jayam Ravi, Kangna Ranaut and Lakshmi Rai in lead roles. Ravi plays the role of a student in a medical college who falls in love with a village girl (gorgeous Kangna). He leaves to Russia for a conference and is soon stuck in a conspiracy. Harris Jayaraj has composed music for Dhaam Dhoom. The music album is tangible proof of the understanding and friendship between Jeeva and Harris.
Lust and romance drip from Benny Dayal and Sayanora Philips' voices in 'Thikku Thikku', a seductive duet.
'Anbe Enanbe' is a solo by Harish Raghavendra. Harish's melting voice fits well with the lyrics and background score and the song provides a wholesome fare.
'Sakhiye' is sung by Bombay Jayashree, Harris' camp constant. As always, Jayashree has been allocated a slow-paced, sweet melody that unfailingly brings forth her exclusive style and skills. Krish's voice is a value-addition to the melody.
In 'Azhiyilae', a lovely solo by Haricharan, the singer proves his exceptional skill and exclusive talent. His voice draws each listener and enraptures him in its charm.
Kailash Kher and Sujatha sing 'Uyyaalalo Uyyaalalao'. 'Pudhu Pudhu' is by Suchithra, Benny Dayal and Guna. True to its lyrics, the former has a happy feel whereas the latter is very novel in terms of tune. Despite the new touch, the song impresses listeners.
Dhaam Dhoom's music gratifies all types of listeners. Certainly there is no element of incomprehension, only enjoyment.
