Dhoni’s admiration for the maverick drummer was clearly evident during the match between Chennai Super Kings and Bangalore Royal Challengers in which Chennai Super Kings won with the help of a blitzkrieg from Dhoni. At the end of the match, as the Chennai Super Kings team was celebrating its victory, Anandan Sivamani and some of the Chennai supporters stepped on the turf only to be stopped by the security personnel. Soon, Dhoni intervened and requested the security personnel to allow Sivamani in. And soon, the celebrations were in full swing again. It was the turn of the versatile drummer to cut loose on the pitch, and cut loose he did in his usual style!
