Thenappan, under the banner of Sri Rajalakshmi Film Pvt. Ltd., is producing the movie Durai. Directed by Venkatesh, the movie has Action King Arjun and Padmapriya in the lead and Vadivelu for comic relief. Arjun has also penned the story of the movie; Venkatesh has worked on the script and screenplay. Shooting for the movie commences today in Pollachi with a song sequence.
D. Imman has composed music for Durai. The movie is no exception to the remix trend! Ilaiyaraja’s 'Raja Rajathi Rajan' [Agni Natchathiram] has been remixed for this movie. It is with this song that the shooting will begin. With over 500 junior artistes from all over the state and over 100 dancers, the filming of this song will take place in Pollachi, as everybody grooves to Dinesh’s peppy steps.
While Anall Arasu is the stunt master for this action-packed, pulse racing flick, another stunt master Allan from Mumbai, is going to create a very different type of fight sequence for the movie.
From Pollachi, the crew will then continue shooting at Udumalaipet and Chennai.
