Official announcements were made about the project Kuselan, Superstar's next movie to be made in Tamil as well as Telugu.The latest news that adds to the excitement is that G.V. Prakash will compose music for this remarkable movie.
When Shankar's Robot (the title will soon be replaced with its Tamil equivalent) got finalized with Superstar in the lead, Rajinikanth decided to do the quickie. Impressed with the script and story of the Malayalam movie Katha Parayumbol which he viewed during a special screening, Rajni expressed his interest to work in its remake. Soon, things started to fall into place. Rajinikath will be doing the movie for K. Balachander's Kavithalaya and Seven Arts films. The Telugu version will be produced by Vyjayanthi films and Seven Arts Films. P. Vasu, who gave the runaway hit Chandramukhi with the Superstar, will be directing this grand production too.
Kuselan signifies the importance of the lead character, a barber in a small village. The story is about the relationship he establishes with a superstar who camps in the village for a shooting. Pasupathi will be playing the role of the barber.
Shooting, starting by the end of February, will be completed by the end of June.
