Aayirathil Oruvan, starring Karthi (Suriya's brother), is directed by Selvaraghavan. Heroine Andrea, who started her film career as a playback singer, has crooned for a song in this flick. G.V. Prakash is composing the music.

Muthirai, a joint venture by Anees Jeeva and A.S.A. Productions, stars Nitin Sathya and Daniel Balaji in the lead roles with Manjari and Lakshmi Rai as their love interests. Sex bomb Rakhi Sawant, who is driving Bollywood crazy with her sensuality, is doing an item number in Muthirai.
