It’s been her long time dream. And now her dream is coming true, thanks to her best buddy Kamal Haasan.
It is old news that the two are the best of friends and Gauthami assists him in all his projects. So naturally, when she mentioned that she wanted to direct, he was immediate to encourage her. In fact, word has it that Kamal himself will take up the production! What else are friends for, eh?
As for the story of her maiden venture, all we know is that it is going to be female-centric. She is yet to decide who will play the part. Kamal will do a cameo, for sure. All the best Gauthami, we could do with more lady directors, indeed!
