One of Harris Jayaraj’s idiosyncrasies is inserting peculiar humming into his songs. Though peculiar, the hums sound good. Their crescendo steeps gradually and they sound very appealing. Sometimes, they sound Oriental. They are powerful enough to evoke surrealistic emotions.
Keeping in line with his idiosyncratic tradition, Harris has rendered similar humming to the some of the duets in Sathyam. Now, to add authenticity to the Oriental feel that his humming carries, he has flown in Japanese singers to create these sounds. Sathyam, the Vishal-Nayanthara starrer, is Harris Jayaraj’s 25th film.
