After Sivi the next movie raring to haunt us is Maha Movie Makers’ Moondraam Pournami. Directed by Ravindhar, the movie is about the mysterious attempts on the life of a young girl in an affluent family in a village. The attempts on the girl’s life are inexplicable and seem motiveless. One of the most spine chilling sequences in the movie has the figure of a woman made of water roaming the house in the middle of the night.
What is it that haunts the family? Is the ghost a part of a well kept dark secret about a seemingly honest family? How is the girl saved? When Moondram Pournami is out we’ll have all the answers!
Starring in the movie are debutantes Dr Ram, Muraliraj, Jegan, Seeni, Kodumudi and Bhoopathi. Joining them are Preethi, Divya Nair, Pallavi, Vasuvikram, SV Thangaraj, Sethu Vinayagam, Alex and Livingston. For actor Livingston Moondram Pournami marks his 100th movie!
The deadly horror in the movie is brought to us by Digital Magic’s Arul Moorthy Piraisoodan has penned the dialogues and songs. Deva has composed five songs – a gana number, a devotional number, a love duet and two fun tunes. Another noteworthy aspect of the album is the Livingston has rendered one of the songs. Ravindhar is more than happy with Deva’s compositions and is sure they will be a hit.
