Jackie Chan was the main attraction at the Dasavathaaram (aka Dasavatharam) audio release function held yesterday. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi, who presided over the function, released the audio and Jackie Chan received the first copy.

Jackie Chan won all the hearts with his innocent and child-like smile. He was very excited to be in Chennai and to be a part of this grand event, and it was written all over his face.
When asked about his reaction to Kamal’s work, the legendary action star said that he was very much surprised to see someone do 10 roles, given that doing one role itself is such a big task. He said that he is really taken up with all this and he now wants to share screen space with Kamal Haasan. He also added with his typical sense of humour, “I am willing to work with this romantic hero of Tamil films on one condition. He has to do all the stunts. I will do all the love scenes.”

Jackie Chan praised Kamal Haasan’s work immensely. He said that when Amitabh Bachchan and he were shown the trailer of the Dasavathaaram, they were both dumbstruck. Jackie had asked who were these various heroes in the film. When informed that it was only one person, Jackie jokingly asked if there was such a great shortage of actors that one person was made to enact 10 roles!
