The organisers of Jersey Rhythms are endeavouring to bring greater awareness and information about South Indian cinema, primarily Tamil cinema to the people of the cities they take their concerts to. They are keen to evolve into an establishment, more than just a band, which will facilitate Tamil cinema initiatives in the U.S. whenever required.
