Yes! You can certainly journey to the centre of the earth tomorrow – if you buy tickets to the Brendan Fraser starrer of the same name releasing in India tomorrow, a 3D film presented in today’s technology! And with the Image Display Technology coupled with digital system of Sathyam RDX, you will “live” the film!
It has been a long time since we last saw a 3D film. That makes watching this film even more exciting. And we have two more films releasing this weekend – Poi Solla Porom and Righteous Kill! So this weekend is pure fun!
(Journey to the Center of the Earth!!!…..Does it remind you of Jules Verne? Yes! You are right. The film is based on Jules Verne’s novel.)
The film is about two maverick scientist brothers Max (Jean Michel Pare) and Trevor (Brendan Fraser), who have lost their respect and credibility in society due to their crazy theories. But Max believes these theories even more than Trevor, which eggs him to go looking for an unseen world at the centre of the earth, which he believes exists! But sadly, he never returns from this journey and a heartbroken Trevor settles for a miserable and lonely life, teaching geography to students. One day, he stumbles upon a map and a copy of Jules Verne’s book (Journey to the Center of the Earth) in his brother’s room and he immediately knows where to look for his brother. Thus he embarks on a journey accompanied by his nephew Sean (Josh Hutcherson), a beautiful mountain guide (Anita Briem), and of course, you, as this is such a mind-blowing 3D film. And his brother’s trail leads him to a world full of surrealistic, unimaginable and perilous creatures. Instead of becoming despondent because of certain death approaching him in the form of dangerous creatures, Trevor is cheerful as he has a glimmer of hope: if Jules Verne can visit this dangerous world and make it back to earth to be able to describe his discovery, so can he!
The film thrives on taut screenplay, tons of special effects, the imagination of the artists who created the creatures in the film, and the broad shoulders of Brendan Fraser. It is a treat to all your senses.
So get ready for your journey to the centre (sorry 'center' in the US spelling) of the earth. Enjoy ‘living’ the movie!
