Kadhalikka Neramillai, the yesteryear hit comedy film (starring Balaiya, Muthuraman, Ravichandran and Nagesh) will be remade in Tamil pretty soon. The word “Kadhalikka Neramillai” will immediately bring to one’s mind the scene where Nagesh narrates a spooky story to Balaiya. This scene too will find a place in the new version, which will be modified slightly to cater to the tastes of modern audiences.
Producer-director-actor Manobala has acquired the rights of this film from Sridhar, who directed the original version. He said that it has been his longstanding dream to direct a full-fledged comedy film.
Actor Pasupathy will play Muthuraman’s part and the rest of the cast will be decided pretty soon. The original version enthralls viewers of different generations even today when it is telecast on TV channels.
