Ace director Bharathiraja’s Bommalattam was Kajal Agarwal’s debut in Tamil. She then acted opposite Bharath in Pazhani, which was released first. She might have been known as a thespian instead of just a glam doll, had Bommalattam come out on time.
Bharathiraja had probably advised the new entrant not to commit to any film in Tamil till Bommalattam came out. The film, insiders say, should fetch Kajal a good name and put her on a different path which would offer more acting scope.
Kajal is now following Bharathiraja’s advice and is waiting till Bommalattam releases. She is now concentrating on Telugu films, where she has a great offer to act opposite Ram Charan Teja, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son. Her future depends on the movie becoming a hit.
