It is heard that Kamal Haasan and S.P. Balasubramaniam will act in a Malayalam film titled Parayan Baakki Vachathu, which will be produced by Shaji T.P. and Shaji Natesan.
Well, it looks like Kamal really meant what he said when he replied to Malayalam actor Siddique in a charity programme!
For those who missed it: About six months ago, Kamal Haasan took part in Hridaya Ragam, a charitable programme held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Chennai), the aim of which was to raise money for the heart surgery of several poor children, a programme in which Shobana and many Malayalam actors including Siddique participated, Kamal Haasan enthralled the audience not only with his eloquent speech in Malayalam but also by singing two beautiful songs in Malayalam. Later, Siddique asked him when he will act in a Malayalam film, to which Kamal replied he may in a year or two. Though it was passed as a general statement then, it sure is moving now towards a definite result.
Dr. Kamal Haasan is a very interesting and intriguing personality, and he speaks what is on his agenda, not just what comes to his mind. Sometimes he even keeps mum until he completes the job! A stoic character who is not affected by the hype built around the things he achieves.
