Directed by K Sandiranath, Kangalum Kavipaduthey is introducing six new faces to the tamil acting fraternity – three heroes and three lady leads. Sandiranath has worked with P Vasu in over 30 movies and has directed movies such as Veerapandi Kottaiyil, Arathy Edugandi, Idhayavasal in Tamil. He has also made a Kannada movie with the popular actor Dharshan. In this movie Sandiranath introduces three actors – Rajith, Akash and Ratthan. Rajith has acted in the malayalam film Golmaal directed by Kamal. Akash is a model. Ratthan has worked as a child artiste in over 15 films. The debutante heroines are Mirudhula, Likitha and Lakshana.
Kangalum Kavipaduthey is a love story that revolves around three friends and their lady loves. The happiness and sorrow that comes well within the territory of being in love.
Music for the movie is by none other than the Maestro Illayaraja and Sandiranath is pretty sure each of the five songs will be a super hit.
The renowned lyricist Kannadasan, has given us some very memorable songs who. And now his daughter Vishali, who’s onscreen debut came many years ago with K Balachandran’s Vaanamey Ellai, is now debuting as lyricist in the movie Kangalum Kavipaduthey.
The movie was shot in an around Karaikal. Selvakumar’s cinematography has complemented Sandiranath’s direction. The movie is produced under the banner of ITC Productions by KG Rangamani, R Nandhakumar and P Ramesh.
