Vikram's Kanthaswamy ropes in Telugu star Krishna in a significant role.
Krishna, who listened to the story narration, immediately consented to act in the film. However, Krishna is not new to Tamil cinema. In some oldies like Mister Mahendra featuring Sivaji Ganesan and Ram Robert Rahim featuring Rajinikanth, Krishna has handled some good roles.
Kanthaswamy will be a comeback for him, establishing the long-lost touch in the Tamil industry. Moreover, Mahesh Babu (Krishna's star-son), has been making waves in Kollywood through his two-way remakes.
