After Kathavarayan, Karan is acting with Udhayathara in the forthcoming Malayan, directed by debutante Gopi. This is their second film after Thee Nagar.
The story is set in a rural background. Karan is confident that it will become a success. He is upbeat that his last release, Kathavarayan, which carried a message against drugs and liquor, went down well with the masses.
