He jumped off a 40-feet tall crane as a part of his job. No, we are not talking about any film stunt man. It is about Karan, a brilliant actor and his pursuit of happiness! Well, jumping off a 40-feet crane too makes Karan happy, if it is a part of his work in a film! The actor said that he wishes to push himself to his limits in order to make his acting realistic and wonderful, and he is ready to go through any amount of pain to achieve it.
Karan is working in Kanagavel Kakka and Malayan at present. Recently, the Kanagavel Kakka unit had to film a scene which depicted the Karan jumping off a tall crane. Stunt choreographer Rocky Rajesh had planned meticulously for this scene and had made all the arrangements, including the body double for Karan. He was in shock when Karan announced that he would do this risky stunt himself. After a moment of mental preparation, Karan jumped off the 40-feet high crane and emerged out of the buffer without any injury or expression of fear or shock. The entire film unit, including Rocky Rajesh and director Kavinbala, were pleasantly shocked and gave Karan a loud ovation, which did not abate even after 3 minutes!
The actor had done quite a lot of stunts in this film, stunts deemed risky by many heroes; he has also worked hard to achieve the strength and agility required to do them by exercising thrice daily. He deems stunts are also a part of an actor’s work and to make them more realistic, they should be performed by the actors themselves.
Karan has evolved into an actor around whom a film can pivot. Recently, he surprised the entire film industry by accepting a eunuch's role in his forthcoming Ardhanari. By this commendable and bold move, he proves that he is a courageous actor and is willing to portray any role onscreen. He has proved he is a thorough professional, whose happiness lies in excelling in his profession. Karan is willing to go through any amount of pain to achieve this excellence! Because he knows that the ecstasy achieved through the results he desires is rejuvenating.
Kanagavel Kakka is directed by Kavinbala, who has also written its story and screenplay. The film speaks about what happens when an ordinary man revolts against the ill-equipped and oppressing system that exist today in our society. Karan, the protagonist, is paired up with newcomer Haripriya. The supporting cast includes Vyapuri, Kotta Srinivas Rao, Raj Kapoor, Sampathraj, Prakash, Devadarshini, and Avinash. With a strong lead actor, a pleasant new face, reliable support cast and a good storyline, there is no doubt Kanagavel Kakka will be a good entertainer.
