Paruthiveeran Karthi will play a double role in his untitled upcoming film, which will be directed by Suraaj. He will appear as a petty thief and as an honest police officer. This film is a remake of the famous Telugu movie Vikramarkudu.
At present, Karthi is occupied with Ayirathil Oruvan directed by Selvaraghavan. Director Suraaj is busy with Padikkadhavan, which stars Dhanush and Tamannaah in the lead. Once they are free from their respective films which are in final stages, they will start working for this new film.
Karthi has also signed another film in which he pairs up with Nayantara.
