Eureka, a famous lyricist and former assistant to director Vikraman, has turned director with Madurai Sambavam, a film which teams up Karthiga and Harikumar, the successful lead pair of Thoothukudi. Anuya (of Siva Manasula Sakthi fame) is the second heroine. A good lyricist who has penned over 30 film songs, Eureka has also takes written the lyrics for Madurai Sambavam. Suresh Balaji, who produced Ajith starrer Kireedam, is the producer.
Shot in the hamlets surrounding Madurai and never-shown-before locales of Madurai, this film will focus on the life of a few henchmen. Madurai Sambavam, a commercial film, will have all the necessary masala elements like action, romance, songs, and drama. Debutante director Eureka plans to mix them all in the right proportion.
The crew plans to complete the filming within 60 days.
