Vignesh, who has acted with ace directors like Bharathi Raja and Balu Mahendra, is currently busy with his forthcoming film Kudiarasu.
Kudiarasu is directed by Sabeer Hussain, who also appears as an Assistant Commissioner in the film. The story happens in a single day (Jan 1, 2008) from 6 a.m. till 6 p.m.
Vignesh plays an investigative journalist and is paired with Suguna. Newcomer Suresh Kanna plays the second hero while Sathya plays the villain. Balaji, who has appeared in many comedy tracks with Vivek, plays a solo comedian.
According to the unit, the film is an action film that deals with a topical problem. In contrast to stunts that we get to see on screen today, the action sequences in the film involve kickboxing and samurai type of fights.
Kudiarasu is produced by Samurai Pictures and Thiruchendur Murugan Productions and has music by Karthik Raja. The film is scheduled for a May release.
