Kuselan’s release will be delayed by another 6 days. It will hit screens on August 1, 2008 instead of July 25, 2008 as stated earlier. Some rerecording, sound mixing, and editing works of the film are yet to be completed, which has led to this delay.

The film will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. Kuselan is a remake of Katha Parayumbol, a famous Malayalam film. It has been named Kathanayakudu in Telugu. As we know, Rajni and Kamal are as famous in Tollywood as they are in Kollywood; Sivaji did exceptionally good business in Andhra Pradesh and Dasavathaaram is doing roaring business in Andhra Pradesh at present.
